An aggregation of Fiona pinnata was found on a buoy that had been washed up on the beach in front of our marine station (see momo030428ar01b "A polychaete worm Amphinome found on wrack".). On the next day, whitish egg masses measuring a few millimeters in diameter were attached to the algae and buoy. Fiona pinnata seem to have aggregated for copulation. (translated by Asoh)
