Many sea urchins cover its body surface with pieces of algae, shells, and pebbles (a behavior called decorating, covering, or masking). Using its tube feet, a sea urchin moves algae to the top (an anus side) of its test in a manner similar to bucket brigade. This is thought to be camouflage by which sea urchins avoid visually oriented predators such as birds and fish. (translated by Asoh)
