A large male hermit crab is foraging over an area with few obstacles. The right claw is large and is used to cover the shell opening when the hermit crab hides itself into the shell. When foraging, the crab primarily uses the left claw whereas the large right claw is used to support the body. The video picture was filmed at Takurazaki, Wakayama City, during spring low tide.
