A male that completed nest building is courting female by zigzag dancing (i.e., a display in which a male shakes the body from left to right while swimming). In the video, you can recognize the zigzag dancing twice (4 and 28 sec.). The male, however, did not succeed in courting.
As you can see from the video, this male are using a rock behind the nest and two rocks on the right as foci of its movement, and moves along straight lines connecting them. It is likely that this individual is using these rocks as navigation landmarks.
