In Centro de Investigacion de Ecologica de La Macarena, we have provisioned a group of wild tufted capuchin monkey. We put bananas and crackers on a provisioning table and monkeys feed on them. Social ranks of monkeys are clearly recognized there, because monkeys do show more aggressions and threats on the table where high quality foods are concentrated. This young male is low ranked and climbed up on the table in a short while all the other indivisuals left the table with foods. He looked around restlessly and gathered as much crackers as possible in his mouth and hands and moved to a branch nearby and then began to eat at last. But he was still nervous and restless.
