This video shows an observation of a focal male big- eyed green pit viper (Trimeresurus (Cryptelytrops) macrops), TRMA226 (center of screen), interacting with a conspecific (likely another big- eyed viper, larger snake which initially moves on screen) in a rural habitat in northeast Thailand. We classified this interaction as "direct" (less than half a viper body length away), and "agonistic" (active response by focal viper) in outcome. See Barnes et al. (2020) for more details.
