Glycera chirori, a polychaete inhabiting mud flats, lurks in the sand and extend its balloon like proboscis to catch prey. Four small black jaws on the tip of the proboscis can be seen in this movie. As shown in this movie, the extension and retraction behavior of the proboscis can be observed even if it is dug out from sand.
